Hello! I'm Ben Prior.
I'm an award-winning book cover designer, collaborating with both large publishing houses and smaller independents, as well as self-published authors. I have a passion for creating visually compelling covers across a wide range of genres, from fiction to non-fiction. My publishing career began at Head of Zeus (Bloomsbury), where I joined as a Graphic Designer and was later promoted to Cover Designer. In 2021, I was shortlisted for Designer of the Year at the British Book Awards and won an ABCD Award for my cover of The Package. After nearly four years, I moved to Little, Brown (Hachette), progressing from Middleweight Designer to Senior Designer while working across a wide range of genres and special editions. Most recently, I won the non-fiction category at the ABCD Awards for my cover design for Chasing the Dark.
